Albany Door Systems is a subsidiary of Albany International Corporation, a global company traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The parent company was founded in Albany, New York, in 1895 as a manufactuer of paper machine clothing, custom-designed engineered fabrics used in papermaking. Today, the group spans the globe with 34 plants in 14 countries. Albany International's renowned paper machine clothing business became diversified over time with the addition of the Applied Technologies and High Speed Door business segments.
