The curtain is made of transparent PVC. All versions, except for the 2/80 and Plast-K (freezer room material) versions, have edge strips in red for visual demarcation. All strips have rounded edges and are fastened individually. This makes them easy to replace. Galvanised metal parts ensure good protection against corrosion. Supplied as a kit for self-assembly.
The effectiveness of a strip curtain is determined by the strip thickness and overlap. This is why the RapidStore series of strip curtains is available in various versions, with the first figure indicating the thickness of the strip material used in mm and the second figure reflecting the percentage overlap.
Particularly suitable for:
closing large door openings
separating areas heated to different temperatures
minimising energy exchange
protecting manufacturing machinery and equipment from dust, chips, spatter, flying sparks etc.
Finish
All metal parts are galvanised.
Strips
The strips are made from a transparent PVC material. Various material widths and thicknesses may be chosen depending on the intended use. Strips are available in widths of 200, 300 and 400 mm and in 2, 3, and 4 mm thicknesses. The strip curtain has red strips at the edge to demarcate it visually. Exceptions to this are the 2/80 version and the plast-K material intended for use in cold stores.
Fixing systems
There are two options: a hinged fixing using hinged shafts (SE) and a rigid fixing using a clamp profile (E) for mounting below or on the lintel.
